Who: Homeschoolers & all their family members!
Where: 1700 W. Washington St, Phoenix
Details of the Tour & Free Exploration:
The tour will spend approximately 45 minutes in the north wing exhibits on the second and third floors. Our group may choose to visit the legislative chambers or freely explore the Arizona Capitol Museum.
Legislative Tour: Immediately following the museum tour, the group will be led out of the museum and taken to the House of Representatives or Senate public gallery for further explanation of the legislative process. When time permits, a legislator may connect with the group.
Free Exploration: The Arizona Capitol Museum has four floors. We invite and encourage exploration of areas and exhibits not covered on the guided tour. If students are exploring the museum we ask that they remain on the south side of the building to prevent the interruption of ongoing tours. We also encourage students to explore the monuments at the Wesley Bolin Plaza located directly across from the museum.
