Taliesin West Tour + Blueprints Workshop
Join homeschool families at the stunning home & studio of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Discover unique aspects of design & architecture, history, and engineering in the desert. This field trip includes:
1-hour guided tour of Taliesin West’s “Historic Core”
45-minute workshop on the Art + History of Blueprints
Students will investigate the cyanotype process of blueprints, and figure out why architects used this technique to reproduce building plans. Students will create their own floor plan and a blueprint to take home!
Who: All ages, best suited to grades 3-12
When: Fri, Nov 14, 9:45 - 11:30AM (optional group picnic to follow)

All registrations will receive a digital study guide and ESA curriculum form.
